And it begins...

I first met Ashley when she brought a bottle of Febreeze to my room while we were both living in one of McGill University's student residences. Little did I know that this initial cleaning product to stem the smell of cigarettes in the carpets would lead to a relationship that extended far beyond the rank smell of air freshener.

We eventually became steady friends and realized our mutual appreciation for the quest of idealism - idealism in spirit, idealism in practice, and idealism in form. Of course, the latter can be interpreted in several different ways, but we realized that there were certain practices leading to a pleasing aesthetic. Now if you have been following up to here, I applaud you. What we intend to start is a blog dedicated to the superficial joys of life that lead to deeper fulfillment. Before we are run away with our philosophical discussion, let us briefly introduce ourselves.
